Yes, within reason. But I'm sure you don't want those Viagra salesmen posting here. The same caution goes for promoting fan wares, that could be just vaporware. I believe you'd prefer the postings to be less commercially motivated. And more about the media itself. Bad movies, and how to tolerate them, in a confined situation.
Unfortunately, whenever I've seen new posters appear, for the first time. It's usually for promoting the sales of something. And then they have nothing else to contribute ever again. Can't waste their time here gabbering, when they could be making money selling DVDs online. Well last time I checked, this message board wasn't for commercial purposes. Or have you loosen the rules?
