: and started anew.
I recently learned that UK's "Red Dwarf" has returned. That is to say they are doing series 9 (Brits call a show's season, a series). And that the DVDs should be out early this summer. Time to get on my library's back about order the set. If they can carry "The Office" and "How I Met Your Mother", they can get "Red Dwarf: Back to Earth".
I've recently finished up viewing of the last three seasons of Doctor Who (the new series), with David Tennent as the Doctor. And while I'm waiting for the 5th season to come out, I might have a look at this series called "Torchwood".
As for MST3000, I've managed to get every episode I missed seeing on TFNFSRN, via YouTube. So though the quality is worse than any VHS tape. At least I can experience them, at all. I've even got most of the KTMA season "zero" episodes (except 1-3, but got "0" The Green Slime demo). Now I thinking I should even get the MST3k episodes I have on VHS tape, also via Youtube or DAP. Because the tape aren't going to last much longer. I've already had to chuck some tapes I made of other Tv shows, because the tapes were getting mushy, and clogging up the heads when I tried playing them. Cheap-ass TDK tapes.
BTW, MST3000 Vol.13 has been announced for this summer (July?). It includes a season 1 oldie. The Robot vs the Aztec Mummy. So they haven't given up on getting those yet. And that one has one of the Commando Cody shorts. I never thought they spring for the rights to those too. But it does look like the Gameras are the least likely to be licensed on any future MST3000 DVDs.
