This was the second showing of MST's unofficial premiere on TSNWSRN. As you may recall, viewers at home supplied their own riffs, in real-time, via the network's website. Actually, the riffs weren't bad, though the delay in posting them on-screen damaged the effect somewhat.
As for the movie, the Corman flick "The Day the World Ended", it's pretty much the standard post-Apocalypse fare, with the usual disparate group of survivors. Not that great, actually, although Mike "Touch" Connors tries his best with his sleazeball character. I have to figure this one might be a candidate for re-riffing by either RT or CT.
This one also featured the same behind-the-scenes clips with the MST cast as the earlier showing. Loved Mike & Kevin's tour guide routine at BBI.
Interesting experiment, this time.
