This movie is pretty much average. The titular crawling hand (or arm, to be precise) is just about what you'd expect. There's the usual overacting by Peter Breck, the doomed astronaut at the beginning, and the posessed teen (the latter is practically channeling Michael Landon from "Teenage Werewolf", at times). Actually, I'd say the best thing in the movie is the "Surfin' Bird"-esque song by the Rivingtons that gets played when the malt shop owner nearly gets killed.
The ep is also OK, for a season 1 outing. They're still adjusting to scripted riffs, but what they have is quite funny. The host segs were good, too, with a great invention from the Mads. And it's a rare show where Larry doesn't get sent to "File this".
Pretty good one, this week.
