Sadly, the Film Crew is no more. Last time I checked, their website was gone. And I read somewhere (Wikipedia?) that they had been put out of business by Jim Mallon himself. Jim felt that their production too closely matched his old show. And you have to admit, it probably did. I suppose if he had been let in on their production, he might not have objected. But I guess he wasn't, or didn't approve, if he was. That he allowed them a go at it for a year or so, was probably more than most would do. And yet, as a fan who just want's to see product. Why can't these media types just get along, and not fight over things like creative rights, etc? It's not like Mallon is planning to do any more MST3k in the near future. If anything, the Film Crew help keep the spirit of it alive. But some "Hollywood" types just to see things that way. I didn't think Mallon was one of those.
So now its just Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic. Until James Cameron registers a complaint about that title. Hopefully not.
