Got the chance to hang with Joe at Daredevil Doug’s jump for life last weekend. Joe has his good moments then times when he slips a bit. He moves slow and seems to got tired easy. But, Joe is a great guy and a lot of fun. It took two days before he got our names down, but his personality is still there. He’s got great jokes and stories and had all of us laughing. He needs a little help but then remembers most of his jumps and details of his career. It was an honor to spend time with him, he really is a kind hearted person with a strong belief in Christ. He appreciated when we took him out for a few nice meals and expressed that several times. The man conducted himself like a real gentleman. I walked away feeling like I made a friend and hope to have the chance to hang with Super Joe again.
