Hey Doug just think if you were over 300pounds like me you would have gotten the traction! Honestly my Brother get well and stay healthy and do not let anyone stand in your way to your dreams!

: Doug crashed last night jumping at a monster
: truck show in Reading, PA. It was a tight
: rodeo arena. Doug had to come in thru the
: parking lot to hit the ramp. It was the
: second show of the day and it started
: raining right before the jump. The parking
: lot was slick and I could see he was having
: trouble making a turn and getting the needed
: speed. Doug shifted right before the ramp
: and went a bit long. The bike was a little
: crossed up and with a wet landing ramp he
: went down. The biked slide under the bull
: riding fence with Doug coming to a stop only
: a few feet before the fence. The sparkler
: was still lit and with the bike on its side
: gas was pouring out of the carb and onto the
: dirt which caused the bike to catch on fire.
: The Fire Department was slow, it took
: several minutes for the bike to be put out.
: Doug was attended to by the EMT’s and a few
: minutes later was able to get up. Some might
: say a man jumping only a month after
: chemotherapy and into his 7th week of
: radiation after not eating solid food for a
: week is courageous. Others would say its
: insanity. Me, I think Doug just wanted to
: feel like himself again. And more important,
: he wanted to inspired the kids at the
: children’s hospital the show was put on for.
: Today he’s very sore, but unbelievably at
: this time we don’t think anything is broken.
: The bike will need some work but it will get
: fixed. If you have a few minutes pray for
: everyone out there fighting Cancer. Pray
: they have the strength to fight and pray for
: recovery, thanks.
