Hey Buddy, are you from NY? Were you there? Racetrack shows can be very difficult, they want you to entertain between races and they want as little down times as possible. So your waiting for a race to end then you have to rush on the track and set up as fast as possible. It was a mistake between stunts, we had a inexperienced crew and a prio canister was left on the track. They are black steel canisters almost like a paint can. I just did not see the black canister on the black track during a night show and hit the canister without a chance to brace myself or prepare to crash. My front tire liked like a pizza with two slices missing. I landed on my head and shoulder destroying my collar bone, shoulder joint, breaking my shoulder blade completely in half in four places, braking two fingers, six ribs and tearing my bicep. Also wiping out my favorite helmet, LOL. Accidents don’t make appointments, they happen when you least expect it.
