But if he knew he was going to land on the right side of the ramp (looking from his view) he made it worse by crossing up the motorcycle to the right instead of the left. In fact if he didn't cross up the motorcycle at all the chances are he would have landed on the landing ramp even if it was a little to the right. Instead he crossed the motorcycle to the right and that caused the bike to move even further to the right.
