The sand is great. It is one of the hardest applications to master. Even more so than mud. If you can ride sand you can ride anything. Nothing get's rougher than sand. Steer with the throttle and keep the front end light. Letting off the gas is like hitting the brakes, especially on a four stroke. There's nothing wrong with the river. It's the event that probably sucked. Check out the RFGP. Same place every year and it's half trails and half sand. It's alot better. You can practice there anytime free. Join R. A. M. D.
