Saturday race results:
Pete Perna - 1st place - Over 60 Novice
Danny Wirt - 19th place - Over 50 Expert
Chris May - Not sure - results not up yet
Mike Lambert - 10th place - Over 60 Expert
Dave Ryan - came to race but unable to work through previous shoulder/chest injury during practice so he's providing track support to the other Arkansans!
Another update tomorrow. Photos will be posted when we get home with the right program to upload photos.
Doug Dubach blew everyone away - 20 seconds ahead of 2nd in the +40 Pro class on a 2010 Yamaha 450F.
Riders of note here - in Dirtbikemike's class - former Grand Prix riders Lars Larsen, Bengt Johannsen - Motocross Action's Jody Weisel - In other races, England's Kurt Nicoll - Pedro Gonzales - Gary Jones - Several Japanese riders including our new friend Chandler Sako (might be misspelled). Also visited with Jimmy Holley who brings the Japanese riders over for these sort of races and speaks the language!! Very impressive!
Everyone is having a great time! Dirtbikemike has added to his team motocross semi-truck toy collection finding a Makita Suzuki and Red Bull Honda at a Love's truck stop then picking up a Monster Kawasaki and Yamaha here at a race vendor.
Danny & Dorcus Wirt and Mike & Pam Lambert are off to the Monsters of Motocross gala tonight. Should be lots of fun!
