Posted by Olli on 8/8/2001, 7:07 am Robert [Malcom Gets] -- I have always loved the score by the CD, but was still surprised that it was so great. The director really kept a very 60s atmosphere, with the dance steps and overall "pulse" of the show. I also thought the cast was excellent. Malcom Gets's Bobby...I didn't particularly care for either way, but it may just be the character observes, and doesn't really participate in the events...it's hard to explain, but I just didn't really care. The supporting characters were all very good. My favorites included Bob Walton, Diana Canova, Nancy Lemenager [whose scene after "Getting Married Today" was HILARIOUS], Michael Gerhart, Michele Pawk, Christopher Carl, Leslie Kritzer, Kathy Meyer is an amazing dancer; Angela Gaylor. Leslie's role was Marta, one of the trio of Bobby's girlfriends, and sings the popular song from the show "Another Hundred People". She stood at the center balcony, and you could see the city buzz below. There was a revolving door, a guy working out, etc. It was very well staged, and Leslie, of course, was great.... Leslie also sang with Angela Gaylor and Kathy Meyer in "You Could Drive A Person Crazy". I really need to get to my dance class (ugh it's so early!), but if anyone has any questions...I will try and post more details later. Link: Production Photos
