Actually, she's a spitting image of a smokey brown mare we used to own. Our mare looked buckskin as a foal, and that's how the breeder registered her as. We bought her as a 3 yr old, and she was wayyy darker than her baby pic. I had her tested and she was a smokey brown. Her face was always a buckskin-ish looking color...but her body stayed dark. I'll try to dig up some pics of her
