Okay, I may have just done a silly thing...LOL
I have just acquired my first Paint mare
(picking her up tomorrow)
Now...she's a fixer-upper.
She has a BIG sarcoid on her leg, just above fetlock. It's Firbroblastic & only holding on by a smallish amount of skin.
Has anyone had any sort of experience treating something like this? I thought you guys might have some different treatments compared to over here...so if you can offer any, all advice will be HUGELY appreciated.
The poor darling has had her sarcoid left untreated for quite a while. The lady who has her now is treating it, but she just doesn't have the time to deal with her at the moment....not that I do...But oh well!
She's got good cow breeding & is a nice type. She's reg PHAA & is a 12yo bay minimal overo. Maiden mare & unbroken....OMG Am I a sucker or what? LOL
I will have photos soon.
I thankyou all in advance
Have a good weekend!
While I'm at it....anyone ever started an older horse? LOL (Once (if) her sarcoid can be brought under control!).
