on a mare's ear. I sold her about 6 months later, but it hadn't started coming back in that amount of time. I did expect it to come back though. I did not do any followup treatment. She had had it for the 5 years I had her before that, but it had been quiet and I didn't want to make it something it was not. Once it started growing and ulcerating, I banded it and it went very well. The thing that concerns me about this mare's leg is that it looks like it may involve more of her leg. Maybe I am seeing something that isn't there, but it looks to me like the whole cannon area is big. Don't know that it would change anything, but it would mean it is more involved than just the part on the back of her leg. I have also started an 11yo mare before...went very well.
