so if your boy is Homozygous black WITH agouti, that makes him bay.
If he also has a cream gene, that makes him buckskin.
Maybe you read his test results wrong...it's possible. Sometimes those things are hard to understand. If he doesn't have agouti, he would be smokey black.
So if the test results read E a Cr that would be homozygous black, no agouti, and one cream gene.
Or it could be written EE aa Cr which would also be black with no agouti.
But if the test results read EE Aa Cr, then he IS genetically a buckskin.
