Hi! A few of us are having a discussion about some Red Roan Minis we own/owned, all offspring of the same Palomino Stallion, with varying colours on Dams (Black Pinto, Chestnut, Roan)
Does one parent of a Roan have to BE roan,(which would make this stallion a Palomino Roan?) or can it skip a generation? Or is it in the genotype/phenotype...
How DOES the Roan gene work??
