need to have her tested. Easy way to know up front - what color are her eyes. If they are blue and she has pink/pumpkin colored skin chances are she's a DD. Remember all DDs have to have two single-dilute parents. With her dam being gray the safest way to know is to have her tested for Red factor (know whether she carries one or two copies of the red gene), Agouti (whether she carries the gene that makes a black horse bay) and then test for the Cream/dilute gene to know if she carries none, one or two Cream/dilute genes.
