Barrio stock market report for 061005
Gee who is that is masked man? Anyhow como estan todos? Well it’s another weekend and its going to be hot and steamy. Remember folks when you spend more money than we have, hejolia, anyhow here is this weeks barrio stock market report:
Los taquitos can be concerned a very low risk investment due to the fact que many barrio member make them at home. But is there really any gain if you purchase them on the way to work? I guess if time is more valuable than money there are not. But if time is not on your side I guess your next best bet is to buy they on our way to work. Los taquitos remained stable at $1.29 each; coffee is not included in some places.
Las empanadas for some reason or another are not a good barrio stock investment to build on. Since the financial risk is so high that barrio members are eating less and less of them due to the high increase on price. Las empanadas increase a bit this passed week, going at .65 cent each. Again they will never ever again go down to four for a dollar.
Las tamales, everyone who loves to eat tamales please raise your hand? Ok some I see several hands up, huh? Well, sure, I bet there is some folks who love to eat tamales all year but wont admit it. Sure, we all try to lose so weight once in awhile but by eating tamales, its not going to happen. Las tamales remain stable for this week at $5.00 a dozen.
La barbacoa by the pound is so hard to determine where this market is headed. Like we mention last week, que with that mad cow disease and other stuff gong on, we are wondering how long it will be before they stop selling beef heads. La barbacoa by the pound is at $4.50 an lb.
And finally las flour tortillas by the dozen has seen its better days. We were informed que there is over 10 major tortillas companies in the hood try to win this market over. Our best suggestion is, that’s if anyone ones to hear it es que your better off in making them at home. But who really has the time to make them? Las flour tortillas going for .89 cent to $1.25 a dozen.
Oh by the way cheap beer remains cheap and will be cheap as long as you drink that cheap beer. A six pack goes for $3.65.
