hello all. For those of you who don't know who I am or why I am sending
this to you, let me explain. I am Adrianne Harkless, President of the
Student NOW (Natl. Org. for Women)/ S-NOW. We are sponsoring an event for
the League of PISSED OFF Voters at Peaberry's on Wednesday Sept. 15th from
3-5. This event is to engage the disenfranchised non-voters and voters ages
17-35. We will providing voter registration as well as information on how
to enact politcal change and motivate voters. There League will be
providing the information and will also be promoting thier new publication.
I am writing this email to ask each of you if you are or know anyone who is
a disenfranchised non-voter / voter to PLEASE attend. I am sure you are all
aware of how important this election is and we need to encourage the
uninterested to participate in thier right to political process. I know
this is a bit last minute, but we were just handed this opportunity. I am
asking all of you to spread the word to anyone and everyone you can. It
will be an invigorating experience not to be missed. Please pass the
information along. I have added to the end an unedited version of the press
release to the end of this email to provide you with more information. We
will be trying to saturate the campus with this information starting
tomorrow, but for those we can't reach, maybe you can. It would be
