I don't know who is listening to the yanks here? We have our own R/D going on and by now the yanks with Allisons are taking over ideas from our little shop at Füchtorf.
Besids for the tires / wheels and some internatl engine parts there is not much yank stuff left in the tractors.
Italian ring & pinion, german diff, gears and planetary internals, ...
I think you'll find less "made in the US" stamps in our tractors than on most of the others.
For the 4.5t Pull Off we'd have needed 10plys and they were standing in the pits.
Our fault we didn't put them on, our fault the intake manifold cracked on the left hand side engine in the 4.5t, our fault we got the fuel system on Monster screwed up... You know, when you screw up, do it big...
