is a shame you feel you have to stay in the closet with your smoking. it is a wonderful social skill. i think you'd be supprized buy how many interesting people you would meet if you felt comfortable smoking publicly, or had an occational nite out in a smoke freindly place.
i think you did ok letting your daughter satisify her curiosity too. as you found out, she also has come to enjoy your times together as much as you have. i'm sure she has bonded with you in the most amazing ways, and that is always a good thing.
i had simular expierences with my daughter and son as they grew and wanted to try smoking. at my house it wasn't a big issue, since most of my wifes family and mine smoked anyways. it ended up being a very positive,bonding thing that continues to this day.
