The Newcastle coach will start Newcastle at 5.00pm on Friday 12th and will pickup at Newcastle, Washington,Bowburn,Scotch Corner, Ferrybridge, Woodall, Trowell, Leicester Forest, and Watford Gap. Because Apeldoorn is close to “Lovebird Export “ to whom several breeders are turning for quality birds, it is possible for those interested to go there instead of the show although it will be necessary to order in advance to enable correct health certificates to be obtain from the Dutch Ministry. Trips Planned for 2007
This show is a favourite of many people and although most years there are requests to visit it there is usually a conflict with the world show which is normally a week later. As this year the world Show has been cancelled, several people want this as a second choice since in size and quality it can be compared favourably with our National.
In the past we have made it a 3 day trip spending 2 nights in an hotel and a day at the show. However, it can be done as a day trip similar to the Golden Ring show and that is probably the best bet until concerns over bird flu have abated a bit.
The Exeter Coach will start at 6.00pm Friday 12th and will pickup at Taunton Dean, Gordano, Leigh Delamere, Chievely, South Mimms, Brentwood, Thurrock, Medway and Dover. Both coaches will arrive back in Dover roughly 8.00pm on Saturday 13th.
