Hello. I wonder if anyone can give me some advice about my African Grey who is aged nearly two years. We have had him since 3 months old, and is really a family member. Just before Xmas I purchased a Galah Cockatoo, but before I had introduced them, unfortunately Tommy had an accident involving a door and his head. Which although did not physically damage, it upset him. Ever since this accident, Tommy has been very quiet indeed, and only uttering a couple of words a day. We have given him heaps of attention, and with xmas and new year holidays, he has seen many people all whom I might add mention how very very quiet he is. He does not mind the Galah too much, but does not like the Galahs cage, so they are now housed in different rooms. When Tommy comes out, he is the same as he has always been when out of the cage, as he never speaks, when outside the cage. And seems to be friendly enough to us, but preening a lot.
Any body with any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
