Posted by vicky My birds were kept in aviaries on a property a member of my family was renting and had been doing for 40 odd years! Unfortunately the owner of the outbuilding sold the land to a property developer who is building houses on it. So I had to move all my birds with short notice into my quarantine cages, I was hoping this would be a temporary situation, but I have been unable to find anywhere suitable and in my price range! These quarantine cages are 3ft cubes and are totally unsuitable for my birds, so with deep regret I have decided to sell up. All pairs are proven either for me or previous owner: 3 prolific proven pairs – these pairs need their nest box removing or they will breed all year round £650 per pair 5 proven pairs - £575 per pair All pairs including the ones that haven’t laid for me as yet (so the previous owner told me) will rear their own young. All my breeding pairs are fed on Avian Specific Pulse soak (AS300), Avian Specific Soak seed mix (AS305), fresh fruit and veg daily and palm nut extract or palm nuts. They also have calcivet, daily essentials and pro-boost supermax. I have kept breeding records of my birds; all have sexing rings and are in excellent condition. They are used to indoor aviaries, so will need acclimatising in the spring if keeping in outdoor aviaries. I currently have a few pairs on eggs, so they won’t be available for sale until the end of February. I’m in South Yorkshire. I am going to Stafford on the 4th March. I may be able to deliver within a reasonable distance at extra cost. For more info contact me on vkirton@hotmail.com Thanks Vicky
