Instead of giving myself reasons why I can't, I give myself reasons why I can. - Unknown

Anyhow I am down 1.5 pounds this week. I am pleased with that as long as I am losing all is good.

Free
As Shelly has been so faithfully been reporting Free has deep vein Thrombosis an they are managing his care at home. Although I use the term "they" loosely.
I was relieved to come home Friday to see a Home Care Nurse with him, she had been with him an hour and stayed an additional hour while I was there. Free naturally complained that she stayed too long because she was a smoker and the smell nauseated him. I gotta agree I smelled it the minute I walked in the house, she really smelled like smoke she must smoke in a closed in area. Anyhow she checked him out and gave him permission to go and in the car and get a burger if he is hungry. It is better than him standing in the kitchen a long time to prepare a meal.
Yesterday I was on the run; laundry, market (which he always does I haven't been in months), yard work, pool cleaning, waiting on him. So off I go to market when I get home he is out in the yard cutting a spring for a garage door. (as Shelly reported) I go ballistic. He tells me the visiting nurse said he could drive to get a burger, and what he is doing isn't much more.
Good God in heaven, how do men think! I still can't draw a parallel between driving through a fast food eating establishment & standing outside in 100+ heat operating a circular saw on a 100 pound roll of springs. Help me out here please, can you explain?
Yesterday evening the lab came and drew his blood. The lab report came back that his blood was still a little thick and to increase his medication. He isn't too bad about letting me give him the shots.
I am currently trying to get a substitute for the next few days to make sure he is doing what he needs to do. Once the medication has been in his system 5 days a lot of the danger will have past. He is complaining a lot more today of pain, I am sure that has something to do with his "extra" activities yesterday. Adam and Roman are handling all the business and been extremely busy, Roman managed to make $140 in two days.
Oh and yes Free has lost a great deal of weight, he went from 262 to 223 and is 6 foot tall, his BMI is 27. (overweight) LOL
Thank you for your prayers and good wishes.
