How often do you go to your doctor, so we will have some kind of idea when you will actually weigh in?
I think this can work but it will take a very honest assessment each day of what you actually do, and being honest with yourself on a whole new level, since there will be no scale to help.
And I think your choice for what you will post in lieu of the weight on Sundays in your update sounds great!
The bottom line is that if you are eating the right amount of calories and burning off enough through exercise, your weight will go down. If not, those variables will need to be adjusted. You don't need a scale every week to tell you that because you will feel it in your clothes as you grow lighter.
And when you DO weigh in eventually, it will be like Christmas... or a wake up call, one or the other. But as hard as you work, I am betting on Christmas!
