Instead of giving myself reasons why I can't, I give myself reasons why I can. - Unknown

Life got me busy and I haven't had time to hardly get on the computer!
I was reading Racheals post about not weighing and getting rid of the scale and a "aaahaaaa" moment occurred.
I weigh in on Thursday mornings at WW. Lately I have been manipulating my weigh ins. Let me explain that. I weigh in...proceed to eat crap from Thursday till Sunday, (Scale shows gain of 4-5 pounds on Monday), Monday comes along and I 'panic' and proceed to eat practically nothing until Thursday weigh in, by which time, I am STARVING cuz I haven't eaten in like 3 days, so then starts up the binge-fest for the next 4 days....VICIOUS cycle I have fallen into. It doesn't help that a friend who is doing WW with me, does the same exact thing.
So....when reading Rachaels post, I was thinking...how about I don't weigh in except on Thursdays and concentrate on eating and exercising consistently throughout the week and get this weight off and some sanity back into my world?????
I really think that if I put all my focus into doing what I know is right consistently, the scale WILL reflect my efforts.
So now today in Monday, and I have eaten bad all weekend yet again...I need to break this pattern.
So today I will eat healthy and exercise and take the gain if I must Thursday. I will not continue to play these games with my health.
So help me with this guys!!!!!
