The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
I used to have the whole back wall

of my fence in double knockout roses. They were extraordinary! The man who bought the house tore them all out even though his wife loved them and begged and begged him not to. He didn't like mowing around them. We also had 5 or 6 huge oaks that were there when we moved in as well as a plum and peach orchard (it was a big lot) He had all them cut down too so he wouldn't have to mow around them. Then he complained about the sun and how hot is was there. DUH! Everyone in the neighborhood thinks he is crazy.
I haven't planted knockout roses here simply because they get too big for the space I have and it has a lot of crepe myrtles taking up room already. I only have a space 3 feet wide along the back fence to try to cram in as many favorites as I can.
