That I went on to the doctor when I started feeling bad. I was right, I had strep, as well as an ear infection, upper respiratory infection and sinus infection. Already feeling better after a day on antibiotics, breathing treatments and other meds.
My trusty clothes drying rack is trusty again. It was getting very rickety, I though because of old age and had been looking for a new one like it. They have become rare and cost nearly $100 these days. I think with my employee discount I paid about $19 for it when I bought it if that tells you anything. I noticed the other day that it had a screw backing out of it so I got a screwdriver and tightened it. Then I sought out all the rest of the screws and tightened them. It is strong as a new one now. *fist pump*
My crockpot and instant pot. Since I don't feel like cooking right now I can just throw a few things in either of them in a few minutes time and let them do the cooking for me.
Having a satellite dish even though I rarely watch TV. The kids use it all the time so it is not a waste but when I am feeling bad I always watch it for hours, whether reruns or movies. Yesterday was one of those days and since the main cable into town was broken I wouldn't have had a TV if we hadn't switched to dish.
