How excited my sister was last night when I talked to her about being able to start exercising again. She is big on walking and after getting so short winded with lung cancer had not been able to walk very far without getting very low on oxygen. It didn't improve after surgery, chemo, and radiation. Doctors had told her that the scaring and fibrosis might make mean that her breathing never improved. Seems that after getting the rib out of her lung she is happily contemplating getting back to walking again.
Not facing the Christmas shopping crowds this year. We finished most shopping before Thanksgiving/Black Friday. Anything left was done online. Only ventured out into the crowds once to find my grandson some long johns when the temps went from the 70s one day to 30s the next night when his band marched in the Christmas parade. That was much easier than Christmas gifts but it was still so crowded that it bothered me.
Krista taking her food to a party and staying on track. This is the hardest time of year to stay on track. If we can make it now we should be fine.
Feeling better this afternoon. Got up this morning with lots of stuffiness, sinus pressure, dizziness and headache.
My house is getting back to normal again and should be all back to rights by Christmas. I was so worried that we would have to be squeezing around all the extra furniture in the dining room when everyone shows up for the family present swap and meal.
