The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

My husband has pleurisy. No, I'm not trying to be mean, but I am so grateful that it is JUST pleurisy. He felt like he was coming down with something for a couple of days then yesterday his chest started hurting. He went to the walk-in clinic where they did an EKG before the doctor even came into the room--just normal procedure when you have previously had your chest cracked open. There was a glip that usually proceeds a widow maker heart attack so an ambulance was called, a painkiller and nitroglycerin were given and he was on his way to a hospital usually 35 minutes away. After 5 hours of extensive testing of many kinds, they decided that the nasal spray he had used caused the EKG glitch, the nitroglycerin stopped the muscle spasms in his chest it was causing that caused the glitch and he had no sign of a blockage in his heart but some pleurisy in his lung. The doc said it looks like he has been fighting off a virus and that lung that is still weak from having three layers of dried blood on it and having it cut into to scrap all that blood off so pleurisy has developed there.
There was very little traffic on the road around me during rush hour as I went to the hospital yesterday. I hate driving that particular stretch of interstate because it is always so crowded and has such crazy drivers. It always makes me extremely nervous to drive that interstate. I avoid it during rush hour. Yesterday it was like I was driving in a little bubble with no one around me and no traffic backups. Occasionally someone would catch up and go around me but I had a little pocket of calm around me. It was weird but very appreciated. Coming home was the same way. Definitely had to be divine intervention.
We were able to sleep in this morning to get caught up a bit of lost sleep last night. No telemarketers calling bright and early this morning.
