my doctors have been keeping close tabs on my left breast due to calcifications (?). Then, out of the blue, a lump shows on my right breast and a mastectomy was necessary. So, ya just never know. Cancer does NOT run in my family.
I was the last person to expect breast cancer. My doctor referred to me as her "poster child".....I ate heathy, exercised, all my numbers were great, and longevity runs in both sides of my family. And then 3 years ago....SURPRISE! That's why I encourage all I know (male & female) to get regular mammos.
