I am so proud of how far you have come in trying to make more healthy choices in your eating and your exercise habits have been strong for years now. Your next lesson needs to be to have faith in your plan and yourself and know that good choices result in eventual weight loss. Look at Cindy. She stays the same some weeks, she goes up some weeks, she eeks down some weeks and she falls several pounds some weeks, but she continues to march on and stay on her plan no matter what the scale says. You know exactly what to eat and not eat. You know that more water will help not only the weight to go down but to help lubricate your joints so that they hurt less, even if the pain is not gone. As the old commercial says, just do it and stop using the scale to see how much you can cheat without it showing. The answer cheating is only cheating on your dream, it gets you nowhere but guilt. Use your plan. If you stop journaling then pay attention to how your clothes fit, if they start getting tighter get back to journaling to make sure you are on plan. Get over the scale thing.
If you are going to do intermittent fasting get you some good quality collagen. Put a tablespoon in a cup of coffee in the morning and possibly one in the afternoon. It helps keep you full feeling longer and helps the joints of some people feel better. It will also make your skin glow after a few weeks. It works!
