Recovering...I got the job offer yesterday but it was a very low-ball offer. With some of the perks I have at my job ($2000 stipend for CEUs), I'd end up making LESS!!! I told them no. She called me back and asked me what I do want. I gave her a very reasonable answer. It was about 4PM when these phone calls started. I didn't hear back from her but assume it's because she couldn't reach anyone to discuss my request. I can't believe that after all of this stress, I will be no better off than I am right now. My gut tells me I will get what I want but, then, I never expected THIS! Heather's mare had her foal early this morning! The mommy wouldn't let her near enough to know the sex. I follow Heather and her horses. It makes me smile. Back to the drawing board regarding a food plan. Health enough (if not energy enough!) to clean my house and cut my grass. Took Charlie for his 'long' walk this morning...it'sin t he 60s, birds chirping, flowers blooming everywhere...our area is noted for its azaleas and they are coming into their own now.
