The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
Purchased my ticket for the Opera in Milan....Teatro Alla Scala. I am in tears! I have wanted to go to La Scala forever. When I first started dreaming about going to Europe, to Italy, especially, well, first, I never thought it would happen. Anyway, I bought a beautiful picture of the Opera house as my 'promise picture' and it's hung on my wall ever since. (I am probably repeating myself what WTH! I am so excited!). The last two times I've been to Italy, Milan wasn't on my agenda. The city itself holds no charm for me other than La Scala and Mussolini's train station...quite a combination. Opera season opens in September so I knew I was going to be able to finally go. It's Verdi opera that I've never heard of but Verdi earned his acclaim at La Scala. The tickets didn't go on sale until today at noon (Europe time) so I got up a little early to have the time to get my ticket and I DID! I can't believe it! I thought, "I'm so excited but there is no one at work who will get me enough to understand what this means because they don't know me" and that was a bummer. THEN, I realized I had enough time to get on line again and share it with you gals!! So thankful for that!
Now, I have to go to work.
