2) got cortisone shot yesterday. Not so good news is that I am having a "cortisone flare" reaction which is apparently common and let me tell you, last night, it was the worst pain I think I've ever experienced. I'm choosing to believe it means this one is going to work as I've never had this with my other 3 shots this year (knee, side, shoulder). Also sad news but no chance of surgery 'til January. I can't even begin to imagine 3 more months of this pain. If there's good news, I guess it's that I'm 1/2 way through the pain
3) seeing pics of Paula's trip and reading in her grats that her back is NOT hurting. SO GLAD to read that!
4) friends who care. I have been very public about my weight loss ups and downs, my ongoing aches and pains and surgeries on FB and the love thoughts and prayers continually given to me there (and always here) humbles me
5) the fact that I keep fighting on - through the pain, through the loss of teaching classes, through the gaining of a ton of weight. I am thankful for my tenacity
