The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
I thought of you

When I went to Target to buy a birthday card for a friend . When Bill and I split, I remember feeling so sad walking by the cards and knowing I wouldn't be buying 'for my husband ' cards anymore, wouldn't walk through the men's section to pick something up for him. Grief has so many unexpected pieces and parts. Like I'll tell anyone, even leaving a bad marriage is painful and disorienting. Going from 'us' to 'me' takes time. I don't miss Bill but sometimes I miss "we". But, when I think about all that goes into making a relationship work, it just feels exhausting.
