The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
LOL, Paula, you nailed it
about my husband letting others work on our house. The saving grace for him is that his line is commercial construction and it is really a horse of a different color the way things are done. Since having his rotator cuff, heart and a lung rebuilt he is finding it harder and harder to do the heavier work over long periods and both roofing and tiling are heavy work. It still hurts his pride but it is easier when he can say that it is not his type of construction. He is appeasing himself by letting them call down measurements and he is sawing everything and sending it up to them. They don't have to go up and down the ladders so they are able to work faster and not get as exhausted by the end of the day.
I'm so glad that you got your door done too. It's not fun to feel the cold air whistling through cracks around the doors in the winter and it costs so much more to heat too. I hope you see some savings on your bill this winter.
