An easy chicken soup recipe that I keep the things for when I don't feel like cooking:
Lazy Cold Soothing Soup
A large can of chicken or
half a rotisserie chicken, chopped
A can of cut green beans
A can of whole kernel corn
A can of green peas
A can of diced carrots
1/2 onion, chopped
1/4-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
a dash of curry powder if desired
1 or 2 cans chicken broth--depending on how much soup you like.
Don't drain any of the cans just throw it all into a crock pot or a pot on the stove on low. When the onions are cooked soft it is ready. It is better the next day. If you want it in a hurry saute the onions in a bit of butter before adding them.
