Son's family came over last night and decided to stay for dinner since it was almost done. I was cooking some WW pork chops and WW "fried" apples and greens. Everyone raved about the food. I added some mac and cheese for the kiddos and heated some broth based soup for starters and turned a meal for 4 into a meal for 8 and everyone raved about the food. A friend had sent some peanut butter and cornflake candies like they used to make at the schools here for anyone that wanted dessert.
Another day off of sugar. I can't believe how much of it I ate for a couple of days while on steroids. So grateful that I was able to just drop it.
That I am the omelet queen around here. For years I hated making breakfast and I don't know why, probably because I am not a morning person and have to crawl my way into the day. Now I turn out multiple omelets on any given day, usually about 5 days a week because that is the grandkids favorite meal. Sometimes they even ask for them for dinner if they didn't get them for breakfast. Even 3 egg stuffed omelets for 6 is a cheap and easy meal so I don't argue. Since all three of them know how to make omelets, even though one has to stand on a stool to reach, sometimes they make me omelets.
Things getting back on schedule. I have been so confused about what day it was for over two weeks.
