WHAT a wonderful musical I went to last night at Chattanooga Christian School. They did "Fiddler on the Roof" and y'all, it was as professionally done as a touring company from NY... they were phenomenal!! They got several standing ovations and several of the actors were high school kids from my church. The lead player, the Jewish dad... was a kid who is in the 11th grade and he was unbelievable. He was adopted by our head deacon as a baby, along with his brother and sister, and is one of the most gifted singers I've ever met... not to mention his acting ability. He got 4 standing ovations. I watched him as he stood there on stage, bowing and crying because he was so blown away that people appreciated his gift and were honoring him, and I wished that his birth mom could have been there and had known what a gift she gave this world. His adopted mom (heart mom) was BEAMING and crying her heart out, along with his dad. Fun, fun night.
back to work today... cleaning a house. Looking forward to getting back to regular life again.
great coffee this morning... got the dark columbian coffee and it is RICH and so good.
back on track and it feels SO good. There is nothing that feels good about being off track.
74 and sunny today and through the whole weekend... going to get out in the sun and PLAY!
