Found the drapes I want for our bedroom at Bed Bath and Beyond. I didn't have a 20% off coupon when I bought them but, when we got our Saturday paper with the ads, there was one for 20% off one item...which would be a $8 savings on each of the panels I bought. Last night I went to the gas station and bought 3 more papers ($2 each) so I could have a coupon for each panel. Now, you can only use one each trip so I will be using the revolving door a lot! I'll save $32!
We're going to the new members class at church this morning. Bill feels ready to join and I do too.
Going to Elli and Faith's for dinner tonight
I'll get this resignation thing over with tomorrow. I get sick to my stomach every time I think about it.
Bill should finish painting the bathroom today. Then, I just have to put the new border up. My bathroom has been torn up for 3 weeks and it's driving me crazy!

I know I was the one that was misled but they put a lot of effort into training me and we've worked short-handed since I've been there. Now, they will be even more short-handed. I know I can't take responsibility for any of this but I still regret that it came to this. I know that Erin and Jamie are going to chew me up and gossip badly about me. I am hoping Shirley stays neutral. I enjoyed getting to know her and working with her. I have to work out of the same office with them until I leave. I think our director will be disappointed and a little ticked. I hope she doesn't tell me that it was all in my head that I would be the Oncology social worker. It was never written in stone but it was implied over and over. I just want it over.

I will be praying for you tomorrow. I support you in being honest with them before you go. Someone needs to be or they will continue with this same, sick way of reacting to each other.
I am SO happy you are going to be back in private practice... it just feels like that is where you are supposed to be.

my comfortable bed, and quilt that I love
clean clothes, all ironed and ready to wear this morning
moving forward in this journey and the desire to get even more serious now that my company is gone... let down my guard some while they were here and have had a hard time getting back in gear, but I'm there now.
realizing that in the next few months I will weigh below 200... that is motivation
remembering how broken and shattered I felt this time last year, knowing we were going to lose mom soon and also how exhausted I felt. God has restored and healed so much this year... my heart is very grateful - Cinq Choses Pour Moi

1) my skin is slowly improving. 2 weeks ago I started on an antibiotic. It's very slowly making an improvement. Sure hope it continues to improve (my chin is always broken out!)
2) jogged 3 ten minute intervals yesterday. I can't believe I am actually doing this. My goal is to run 5K on New Year's Eve in 40 minutes or less. It took 36 1/2 minutes yesterday so this is definitely do-able
3) I'm done over half my Christmas shopping and actually might start wrapping today. WooOHOoO!

I thought I was doomed to have adult acne... not bad but always one or two here or there and it was SO frustrating.
I tried antibiotics, all kinds of makeup, and creams and medicines...
And then I got Bare Minerals makeup (powder) and within two weeks of using it, my skin is flawless. Every single day.
I was amazed.
Anyway, no I don't work for the company and this isn't a commercial but it works incredibly well. Some of the other mineral make ups do not do the same thing, but this works for me. It did for my niece too who has had a real problem with acne. She looks like a model now.
It's worth a TRY! - WOW!

Thanks for the head's up Shirley. I don't wear makeup 75% of the time but it's definitely something worth checking into!! - I use it too

And it honestly doesn't look like make up. If you never wear it at first you feel it a little bit, but then it feels and looks like nothing, and withstands sweat as well. Amazing stuff. - And ya know...

I have had SO many people say "WOW, what beautiful skin you have Shirley... you look SO young. You must be doing SO WELL!!" LOL
I do NOT have beautiful skin. This just makes me LOOK like I do.
