The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Got my oak loveseat rocker on the patio. So grateful. |
Sweet time reading today and a good cup of coffee.
Church dinner and a new Bible study starting this week.
Going to join the study here at the continental too.
Sweet, quiet neighbors.
Cool mornings, down in the lower 60s. UN heard of in August in Tennessee. Great for vegging on the patio with some coffee.
My sink. Sounds funny but I love my sink.
My Keurig. Grateful I have it.
My prayer partners. This move has messed with our getting together and next week we will remedy that and get together here to have lunch and pray.
Sleep well here but I have ordered a recliner that will make sleep even better.
How God has changed so much in me during the last 6 months. He knows what we need much better than we do.
All of you.

Took today off. Partly because I truly don't feel good but in great part, because I need to figure out what I am going to do about my food. Just like the last time I got back from Paris, I have eaten and eaten and eaten.....junk all day, very little real food. I haven't been able to make it through one day eating in a healthy manner. I have to use this day to get a plan together. |
My Martin's store. It is closing tomorrow and I will miss my grocery store. It's certainly not the best grocery store I've had but you just kind of get used to the people at a store, where stuff is, the convenience of it being less than a mile away. I have a Food Lion right by the bus stop and it's good for the run-in stuff like milk, eggs, cat food, etc but not for anything special and their produce and bakery suck.
My sunflowers blooming. Will post a pic later.
How well my gardens have held up this year despite the heat and drought. I think most of the plants are mature enough now to survive some hard times...like their mama!

Are you getting anything done treatment-wise for your ankle or just living with it? I'm just living with my knee other than ice / heat / brace. Sorry to hear you're still in pain |

1) a remote for a car dealer this afternoon from 2-6. Always good money - $40 an hour for 4 hours |
2) Ray and I went to get groceries together this morning. It's just the little things, you know?
3) having Ray's son and his wife and kids and Peter and Kim over for a BBQ tomorrow night
4) sunshine - BRING IT ON! We've been so lucky with the weather lately
5) hearing the little jingle of Cooper's collar as he walks through the house
last one made me smile.....nt
