The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

My Sunday's gratefuls

Another beautiful day here! Feel so grateful to not be facing the devastation of so many people in the path of all the hurricanes, the fires in the Mid-West and Canada and the earthquake in Mexico. |
Loving my new handmade leather clutch/crossbody purse I bought yesterday. It feels so supple, is a generous size, has a section inside for credit cards, money, coupons, and change so that I don't have to carry a wallet, has several sections and will easily carry my rescue inhaler, phone, tissues and meds that I carry even when I don't carry a big purse. It has a locking outside zipper that makes it harder for pickpockets. It's just beautiful and I love it. I got my daughter and daughter in law one too. I don't know what that woman was thinking selling these for $20 but I am grateful she did. They are worth so much more.
Watching a video this morning of a lovely 101-year-old lady that has lost most everyone dear to her already who gets up every day and makes clothing for children in third world countries. She was such an inspiration. So much faith and determination to use her gifts and talents for others.
Trash pickup. Such a luxury.
Was able to find some hard to find locally batting yesterday for a project I have been wanting to try. Can hardly wait to get strted tomorrow.
I love my purse because it, too, has the 'wallet' stuff included.

Fun time out with Aisha last night. |
We went to a Greek restaurant which is heavy on meat but also had vegetarian versions of some of the dishes. I had the best spanikopita (sp) that I've ever had and, saganaki (sp) which I had forgotten even existed.
My elbow is in agony today but the grat is I know it will pass to bearable at some point. It should have been killing me last weekend when I did all that yard work but didn't. Why now?
All the people trying to rescue the animals from Harvey and Irma. So many will be swept away. Breaks my heart.
Me too Paula.

I worry about all the animals left behind. Some are chained or in their cage and won't be able to even try to survive. Our shelters here have taken in SO many from Houston and have an urgent plea out for forever homes or at least until they locate their families. It is heartbreaking.|
