The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

and enjoying our time with Scott. |
We're doing lots of food-related things (cooking & baking) and I don't feel right posting about all that in a weight loss group. So, for now, I'm just reading the posts of others.....
Enjoy your time :)

We had our big family Christmas yesterday and everyone seemed happy with what they got. I'm grateful that they are happy but mostly grateful that I have a family that is grateful for what they get and don't sulk because they didn't get something else or more. When the youngest opened his gift from us he got so excited. Then he yelled "mind blown". Cracked us all up. This is an only child whose parents are successful and an only grandchild on the other side so he usually has everything he could even think about wanting. It's hard to blow his mind. |
I managed to eat well and stay on plan yesterday.*\o/*
Grateful that it wasn't really Christmas day so walk-in clinics were open. We had all the grandchildren Wednesday night. Yesterday morning one got up sick and daughter's ears were hurting. They both went to the clinic and got antibiotics for upper respiratory infections and ear infections. By the time son and DIL got here their son had started running a fever so she took him. He had flu. They gave him Tamiflu and he was already beginning to feel better by the time they left. They all know my husband at the clinic and before they left they had sent in a prescription for Tamiflu for my husband as a preventative because they are afraid of what flu would do to his heart and lungs with the problem he has. Sure hope it helps and he doesn't get it.
I have 3 new bottles of Lysol.
Our big screened room. The temps are pleasant today but it is raining. Everyone is gathering in the screen room.

1) having so much fun working at the radio station! Working "The Road Show" (3-7) today |
2) prizes (CD's) to give away this afternoon on my show
3) although I've got health issues to deal with, they could always be worse - way worse
4) Ray's starting to put together a proposal to present to Mazda to work part-time (24 hours weekly) after March and start up his handyman business on the side. I hope he gets what he wants from them. They'd be crazy not to take the offer but we'll see if they have the budget for another staff person
5) Cooper's one year checkup / shots are today. I am sure he will be a little angel. (really he will!)
Krista I hope
