The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

First off....Delta is my hero...lol....Delta, you suggested making full days either E or S days and not to worry so much about the 3 hour time window in-between...oh my gosh!!!! I have been doing that all week long with total success!!!! AND!!! I haven't felt stressed with grazing...just keeping it all S or E.....thank you SO MUCH for suggesting it!!!! Now the true test will be if I am able to lose weight doing it this way!!! |
I am so thankful for all the SUCCESSES here lately!!!! You gals are rocking the weight loss boat for sure!!!!
I am thankful for my house and owning my own business....it's been crazy again in the salon....I know its time to raise prices but I have such a hard time with that.
My family is healthy...so sad when I hear of sick kids.
Thankful for a God who's love is unconditional!!

I am glad that the suggestion worked. Wasn't really mine I don't think because I had read where others had to switch days or something because they grazed. Do you hang out any at the THM facebook page? Sometimes you can pick up lots of good ideas and tips. They have too much food on there for me so I try to stay away unless I want to ask questions. I sure hope it works for you. The sisters don't like this idea, but if you do mostly S meals for a couple or so weeks it can sometimes set off some fat burning and get you a quick loss that gives you a boost to keep going. It's very similar to doing a low carb diet. I still follow a few of the bloggers there. One of them was saying today that she was looking back over her food journals to try to find out what she used to do when she was losing faster and she said that she had GGMS every day once or twice and she had a skinny chocolate or a coconut oil fat bomb every day. There are tons of different flavors of fat bombs on Pinterest. I like strawberry and orange cream. I sure hope you find something to help. I know how it feels. By the way, I have found that Briana Thomas and Darcies Dishes usually have good recipes and menus for quick references too. |
thanks for all the suggestions!!

My husband has pleurisy. No, I'm not trying to be mean, but I am so grateful that it is JUST pleurisy. He felt like he was coming down with something for a couple of days then yesterday his chest started hurting. He went to the walk-in clinic where they did an EKG before the doctor even came into the room--just normal procedure when you have previously had your chest cracked open. There was a glip that usually proceeds a widow maker heart attack so an ambulance was called, a painkiller and nitroglycerin were given and he was on his way to a hospital usually 35 minutes away. After 5 hours of extensive testing of many kinds, they decided that the nasal spray he had used caused the EKG glitch, the nitroglycerin stopped the muscle spasms in his chest it was causing that caused the glitch and he had no sign of a blockage in his heart but some pleurisy in his lung. The doc said it looks like he has been fighting off a virus and that lung that is still weak from having three layers of dried blood on it and having it cut into to scrap all that blood off so pleurisy has developed there. |
There was very little traffic on the road around me during rush hour as I went to the hospital yesterday. I hate driving that particular stretch of interstate because it is always so crowded and has such crazy drivers. It always makes me extremely nervous to drive that interstate. I avoid it during rush hour. Yesterday it was like I was driving in a little bubble with no one around me and no traffic backups. Occasionally someone would catch up and go around me but I had a little pocket of calm around me. It was weird but very appreciated. Coming home was the same way. Definitely had to be divine intervention.
We were able to sleep in this morning to get caught up a bit of lost sleep last night. No telemarketers calling bright and early this morning.
Cindy has lost 70 pounds.
Krista is 14 pounds from goal.

I am so sorry to hear about the health problems your poor husband has faced and I am praying that he will be better soon. I don't know anything about pleurisy but I'm sending love thoughts and prayers that he can be healed!|
Thank you Krista.

If you met him you would never believe there is anything wrong with him. He is always doing something, much like Ray, but all this has slowed him down a bit the last couple of years. Even when he doesn't feel good he is going and doing so to go to the doctor is a big step for him, to go to the ER in an ambulance the doctor called is just really strang and unnerving. |
I believe that!

CPR & Heimlich are a pain... but - once I did use the Heimlich on a choking person and they were OK. It's an important skill
