The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

- starting to come out of the horrible shock of more students killed |
- standing up for what I believe in (in a manor that would not threaten my life - I hold back for Murray)
- I saw the new baby on street today. Cooper is so cute.
- great tv shows with science, history and much more
- the sun was shining for a piece of time today... yaya
friends, family, you all, fb, internet, cell, car works ok
Threaten your life?!?!?

A couple of times I've confronted people saying stupid things - strangers. |
One example (briefly) 2 men at the grocery store were discussing when President Trump said you can grab a women's 'p*ssy' They said any ugly women wouldn't mind. I really confronted them and got in their face about their wives, sisters, moms, grandma', daughters etc. They were fuming. I promised Murray I wouldn't confront people. He said they could have followed me home & kill me.

I admire you for standing up for what you believe in. It's also so scary to me how things are in the US. Can you all move to Canada? |
It's so unfortunate...

I've never seen anything so utterly crazy than President Trump. |
I may call one day & say: "I save my seat."
I hear ya

You're always welcome. |
From Canada, we just can't understand how he hasn't been impeached. I can't even imagine what it's like living there

We're having a great time with Kari....go, go, go. Sophie is in her glory with all the attention from her big sister! |
The casinos are sooooo happy (and willing) to take our money! lol
I think our nasty cold bugs are finally gone....feeling so much better.
Feeling so very, very grateful for all we have. Reading/hearing the nightly news makes me so appreciative of what we have as a family!!!!!!!
A whole new day ahead of us - - -

1) Ray has a day off work - it's our first year getting this holiday in New Brunswick - Family Day |
2) I DO work at the radio today but it's double time so I'm down with that
3) less than 10 lbs to goal. I'm up and down now and it's a lot harder to lose but I have to keep in mind - Krista, you have less than TEN POUNDS to lose to get to your goal
4) no classes at the gym today - nice to have a night off (off due to the holiday)
5) going to be 18C on Wednesday! WHOA!

Slowly getting the house in order. Threw away tons of food in the fridge that was past expiration date...mine more than his, actually. Trying to get the family room laminate cleaned up. It's basically ruined from the cats peeing behind furniture while he was in there. My cats did it so I take responsibility for that but, damn, couldn't he smell it and tell me so I could clean it? In places the pee was so repetitive that it seemed between the tiles and it's ruined. Searched ALL over for replacement tile but it's not made anymore. |
Charlie and I took our walk in the rain this morning. He has his third arse laser treatment this morning. I was reading more about anal gland infections and, if this doesn't work, the options aren't good...removal of the anal glands with the possibility of untenable complications. My dad used to tease me and say my life was like the old movie, "The Perils of Pauline." He may have been right!!
Neighbor agreed to let Charlie out 2x day during the week for $20/week. He goes out about 4-5x day but this will be a big help. It will also give him some company. Robert is a handyman/lawn guy so his times may be inconsistent because he may be on a job but I'll take what I can get.
That's great re Robert!
