The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
Going to try something this week...

With my Weight Watcher program and see if it does anything. Several people on WW do what is called the Sprengle plan which is named after the guy that came up with it and a lot of people have found that it kick started their weight loss once again when their losses slowed down or stopped. Basically what it involves is eating your weekly points over a three day period. WW give you 41 points a week that you can eat at any time if you need them, and still lose weight. I have been trying to stay around 24 points a day which is what they give me to eat and usually donít dip into my weekly points. This guy found that if you use your weekly points (or at least most of them) over a 3 day period, it will jump start your metabolism and then when on day 4 you go back to eating at your lower point range, the weight will come off! To me this makes sense, as I know a body needs food to lose weight. A body that thinks it is starving will hang on to every morsel of food you put in it. He said that you will see your weight go up slightly during these three days but then will see it drop down. You are still eating on your weight watcher plan, you are just consuming these extra weekly points over a 3 day period. |
I figure it makes sense, and could shake my metabolism up a little. He uses days 3, 4, and 5 to eat his weekly points, but I am going to try using days 2, 3, and 4 to make sure I have days 5-7 to lose before weigh in!
I will keep you posted! Iím hoping this works although he says it could take 2-3 weeks to have it kick in!
I also bought me a new Contigo water bottle today. I need any reason I can come up with to drink my water, so a new pretty water bottle did the trick! Off to get my bottle filled back up!
I appreciate any that read all the way through my ramblings!
Sounds like a plan!

Good Grief. |
I've started with 31 and am using up all my daily and activity points!
Curious to see how the jump-starting works. Makes sense.
Yes I get 24 points a day...

And then I get my weekly points. 24 a day is doable if I build at least lunch or dinner around my 0 point foods! I am trying to eat 10 extra points a day on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Hopefully I will be able to go back to my 24 points on Wednesday without any problems. Time will tell! |
