The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Sue has been checking in and seems to be doing well on her road to recovery. |
So many crepe myrtles blooming all over the town. It's so pretty here in the summer.
A cooler day today. This morning was wonderful with temps at only 82 when I got up. Heat index is only forecast to be 100 today. That is 14 degrees cooler than it has been.
My new haircut. Last year it was way down my back well past my bra strap and nearing my waist because my hairdresser quit and it was a hassle finding someone else. I kept getting bad haircuts from new people. I just wore it up a lot in a quick bun or chignon. So fast and easy, except for the drying. Found out that a girl I used to teach in Sunday School is now a hairdresser and started going to her during the winter. She is so good. Had it shortened to a shoulder-length bob, then a chin length bob. Got brave enough to have it cut short today. It's so summer friendly. Love it!
Somehow it finally soaked in today that July is here and passing quickly. Yeah, I know we just celebrated the 4th but somehow it had not become so concrete until I looked at the calendar and saw that we are about to go into the second week in July. I had so many things that I wanted to be completed by the end of July. I need to get the list out and check off the completions and see what else I need to get to work on. Glad that I woke up when there was still time.
The grandboys are old enough to want extra money now and are always asking if they can do things for me to earn extra money then doing a good job of any task I give them. It is a nice change from, "Do I have too? Can't somebody else do it?" or groaning every time they are asked to do the simplest thing.
Antibiotics and that all three sickly people in the house are feeling better today.
The binges that Beverly dodged this week and how well her weight loss went.
That Cindy has found a plan that fits her.
Krista and Shirley have plans that work for them they seem content with.
Paula thinks it is easier this time around to stay on plan and she has turned in some big numbers for her efforts.
CindyH is posting some losses also.
I think that this is the first time since I came that everyone here seems on track at the same time. There is an energy here because of it and I feel like that helps us all.

I think you're right about everyone having some scale success at the same time. It's been a very long time. It's wonderful.|

- so grateful that Delta got to her huband in time to help him. So scary. |
- Shirley has found what works for her. My old neighber would say.... if it's not broken, don't fix it!
- Murray is so kind. He's going around the corner to weed the front yard of a new friend of mine (from the pool) who's been in the hospital.
- Rachel has her nephew & family for a visit!
- loving my red tea, Rooibos. Lately I can't do caffeine
friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell, car works well.
Thank you, Beverly.

I like red Rooibos too. It's also good for weight loss, or so they say.|

I did not know about any weight loss properties. I love tea... but with milk & sugar. This tea has a nice flavor on it's own. ☺|

I was glad they had both a male and female category! We are taking 2 weeks off (they are, Iím not) and starting up a new challenge! Iím hoping I can hang onto my trophy!
3. A program that works and the willingness to work it!
4. Kenís back is a little better. He was lifting some tires and pulled some muscles!

You deserve that trophy. You have really stuck to your course and learned a new way of eating instead of dieting. |

My B.I.L. is going to take me for my cortisone injection (buttish, backish? Wednesday morning. The last time I had this done, no one had to be there with me because I don't use anaesthia (sp), just local numbing but they insisted this time. Have to be there at 7:15
Have had a new laptop for almost a year because I was going to use it for the practice. Decided to use the one I already had but didn't return it because I knew the laptop I use at home was dying. Long story short, the one at home wasn't working well but I didn't feel like getting the new one set up the way I wanted it. Well, the old baby need to be put to rest and I started setting the other one up last night. Such a confusing process for me.
I am glad that you can

count on your family to help you. It's cooler here after the storms came through, too but not cool enough to have the windows open. We rarely get a Nor'easterner this far inland but we have had one both of the last two days. |
Hope you get your laptop set up to your liking soon. I hate that job and delegate it to my husband.

that your BIL will go when you get your shot. |
